    Summary:
Great in the wind! I pitched it on the beach and had 40 mph winds that night and tent stayed like a rock. Recommend a tarp to put underneath. The huge vestibule was big enough for my 80lb. alaskan husky to sleep in at night and stand up and move around while still fitting my dirty boots and pack. Very light I believe if this tent can withstand Kodiak's harsh weather it can stand it anywhere. My only beef the first time I took it out and staked it down about 2 inches of stiching came undone...otherwise excellent buy with out having to go to a 4-season tent.

    Summary:
A great tent. Easy to set up and no problems if done correctly, and not many if not. I haven't had any problems and have weathered many violent Mid-Western thunderstorms. Would suggest investing in the ground cloth and some heavier gauge stakes for inclement weather.

    Summary:
This tent is a joy to camp in, with a lot of room to spare! The set up could be easier with color coated ends to match the tabs where the pole meet. The Rainfly seems a little loose, but gets the job done. I highly recommend buying the footprint, it is worth it. Plus Sierra Designs customer service rocks, they are one of the most helpful group in the industry. If you have a dog and love to feel secure in the outdoors buy this tent and layback and feel good about it.....

    Summary:
I have recently had the delight of testing the Astro while i was Backpacking on Mt. Rainer. Well let me tell you a thing this is one of the best tent I have ever tested it was snowing and even though i was in a three-season tent i was was dry. Of course it is kinda of a pain to set up if i ever go back i wouldn't go without a Astro CD.
