Summary:
Rawlings makes the Gold Glove, the line of the most elite baseball gloves at virtually all levels from junior high school and up. No other brand comes close. Their highest quality line of gloves are the Gold Glove Series, also refered to as the Heart of the Hide series.

I got my first gold glove in junior high school. Back then, it was as if I was playing with the holy grail. You see, back then, if you weren't that great of a player, you felt like one if you had one of these babies. And people thought you had skills on the field.

I can remember it took me weeks of work to break in that glove. It is made with the highest quality leather and is very tough to break in. This helps to explain its durability. Make sure you have much glove oil or mink oil, which will help to break it in quicker. The best thing for it is to just get out on the diamond and break it in the old fashioned way.

My personal favorite glove is my Wilson A2000. I wrote an article on it so please check it out before you make any purchase. Good luck.

Summary:
This is definetly by far the best glove I have ever purchased. I had no problem breaking it in, and it has a great pocket. I only purchased the glove because Rawlings is known to have a great reputation, and I have never bought one of their products, but now I am glad I have. I play 2nd. base, and this glove is perfect for me. I have not had this glove very long, however I have a feeling it will last me a very very long time. I considered Mizuno, and Louisville Slugger gloves as well, however I chose the Rawlings glove because my hand felt better inside the glove, and it looked more durable then the other gloves.

Summary:
Simply put, it's a great glove. I have been playing baseball for 13 years and this is the best glove I've ever owned. The glove took time to break in but that is a good thing because gloves that break in fast don't last and become to flimsy. The glove has stayed in great shape and with a reputable company like Rawling's it's good to know if something did happen, they wouldn't hesitate to replace it. I am an infielder but this glove could be used for pretty much any positon. I would definately recommend this glove for and serious ballplayers.

Summary:
I purchased this baseball glove because Rawlings has a good reputation when it comes to baseball. This mitt has a great pocket, and can be perfectly shaped to suit your needs. This product makes the ball transfer from your mitt to your hand easy. You don't need to go searching for it in your mitt, it is easily taken out. I suggest any glove made by Rawlings. This mitt has held up so far over about 2 years, and it is still as good as the day i got it. This is a great mitt, and I look forward to using it over the next couple of seasons.

Summary:
This glove is one of the better gloves i have ever used. I can't believe I didn't find this glove sooner. Of course, most gloves last for many, many years, so you don't go shopping for a new baseball glove everyday.

The thing I like most about this glove is the feel of it. It's not too big and not too small. It literally feels like an extension of my hand. That is a very important thing when choosing a glove. You have to be comfortable with it in order to be able to concentrate on your game and be the best player you can be.

Some other good things about this glove are: durability, strength, and snugness. This glove is very durable. You don't have to worry about looking for a new glove in the next couple of years if you decide to go with this one. This glove is also very strong and padded (I LOVE THAT!!). The top quality leather used to make this glove will not be broken by a hard line drive no matter where you play. You could almost catch with this glove. Snugness? What's that? Well, you don't have to worry about this glove falling off your hand. It is made to stick with you.

The only thing I can think of as a downfall of this glove is that it is pretty stiff when you first buy it. It is best to buy it a season ahead and work with it in practice for a year or so to get it broken in well. Other than that, I can't think of anything else negative about this glove. All in all, it is a great glove.
