Summary:
I originally bought this helmet because i needed one for a racing team and it was one of the best skiing investments I have made. It makes a lot of sense, especially when racing and pulling 360s and what not. The helmet is more comfortable than a hat, doesnt affect hearing at all, and is a great safety barrier. If youre gonna get a helmet get a higher end model because it makes a big difference. I personally reccomend this one.

Strengths:
Everything. Warmth, comfort, protection, appearance, fit with goggles

Weaknesses:
Having to feel bad for all the people that are not wearing one

Summary:
I originally bought this because a helmet was required in order to join my high school slalom team. Not only does it work well when I'm racing and training, it is very comfortable when freeskiing. I now wear my helmet at all times when skiing, and it is always there in the back of my mind as a reassurance when I'm about to try something stupid (which probably happens more than it should). It is a very good product at a pretty reasonable price, and I would definitly recommend it to anyone looking for a new ski helmet.

Strengths:
good looks
light weight (for less neck strain)
Outlast liner keeps temps comfortable
Boeri service (they even sent me a free helmet bag when I sent in my warrantee)

Weaknesses:
nothing that I can think of

Summary:
After reading several horror stories about skiing accidents and after experiencing a near-miss with some big rocks off-piste, I decide to buy a helmet.
This BOERI helmet looks great, has a great fit, is produced with the latest technological materials, is light as a feather (similar to bicycling helmets), won't obstruct your view, won't impair your hearing AND gives you the SAFETY you're looking for!!

Strengths:
Very light, comfortable, warm when needed, good ventilation, good hearing (for good situational awareness)

Weaknesses:
Padding on middle part of chin-strap would make this great product even better

Summary:
The liner really does seem to maintain a consistent comfortable temperature. ( whether the outside temp is warm or cold )

It also proves the 85% heat loss through head rule. I'm happy skiing in a sports-t and outershell in cold, high winds when with a wool hat I would normally wear an additional thermal and fleece.

It does not obstruct vision in any way, and combined with light weight you really forget it's there.

Had to go with a size above normal ( usually wear a M/L but in Boeri went for the L ).

This is a great investment in safety AND comfort. Can't recommend this enough.

Bought mine in an end-of-season sale at REI for $90 but even at retail would be worth it.

Strengths:
light, comfortable, temperature control, peripheral vision

Weaknesses:
none so far

Summary:
I must say it's not cliche when people say that this helmet is more comfortable than a touque - it's totally true. It fits snug, with minimal movement. I have a "round" head and facial features, and this helmet felt perfect from day one... I did try a few on, but they were either too roomy, too tight, had pressure points, ill-fitting straps or what not. This puppy felt A-1 from the start.

I've skied in very cold weather and was grateful for it's wind coverage and warm liner. I've also hiked Blackcomb's backside on a WARM day and it was fairly decent - Outlast makes a big difference. Sure it got warm, but overall, way better than any one I've previously tried. Trick in the warm stuff either start with it on and LEAVE it on, or start with it off, then cool down, then put it back on (otherwise the dampness does feel awfully cold when putting it back on) but hey, accidents happen when hiking too, not just skiing, best to leave that bucket on at all times!

Excellent price for the protection and cool colour options!

Strengths:
Light; super Comfortable; excellent venting; Outlast liner; great peripheral visibility, cool design!

Weaknesses:
Still a weeeeee bit warm when hiking for the freshies, to be expected I suppose.

Summary:
I've been really happy with this helmet. I have a rounder shaped head and this was the best fitting one I tried. Others pressured the sides of my head too much and gave me a headache. The design of the Boeri lets you hear well and still provides nice coverage. The liner is warm but the ventilation design kept me from overheating on milder days. I would definitely recommend this helmet.

Strengths:
Great fitting and comfortable.

Weaknesses:
None.

Summary:
Nice helmet. Will not leave home without it. Nice lines, comfortable, you can hear, and it is light. You will not be disappointed.

Strengths:
Awesome helmet. I vowed not to ski in 1999 without a helmet. My friend, who works at a local ski shop and is an expert skier, recommended it. I gulped when I saw the price, but he convinced me to try one and I am glad he did. It is light, comfortable, stylish, has a cozy fit and has great lines. I can hear well with it on and it regulates temps well. Boeri also throws in lots of free stuff including a nice helmet bag. Nice color.

Weaknesses:
On windy days, if you turn your head just right, you can get an annoying whistling sound. Other than that, this puppy is just great!

Similar Products Used:
None. Tried Red Helmets and other Boeri Helmets. I am glad I went with this top of the line helmet. Go for it!

Summary:
If you're looking for one bad-ass helmet, you've found it in the AXIS Performance. This thing is so light, I forgot I was wearing it when I went inside the lodge. The outlast lining does an amazing job on temperature control, and the slots in the ear area allow sound to transmit very freely. (Unfortunately you can still hear the snowboarder carving two runs over) The graphics package is way sporty, I feel like racing Super G style all day instead of ripping the pow at times. In addition, the customer service from Boeri is second to none. Roger Wiliamson has obliged my many requests with two helmet bags, 2 goggle straps and a bunch of stickers for my truck.(All for free)

Strengths:
Comfort,Low Weight, Typhoon Colors,Good sound transmission, Ventilation

Weaknesses:
Not a damn thing!
